Ethics reflect the values and convictions of a Maison. They are expressed through distinctive choices on environmental, social, and societal issues that we call our ethos.

At MAZARIN, we have chosen to focus on a selection of materials that reflect our environmental convictions, as well as issues of gender equality, a non-normative vision of genders reflected in our jewelry, and principles of fair remuneration throughout the production chain. We are committed to making positive impacts on communities through our jewelry and aligning our actions with our beliefs.

[2] A management duo open to diversity and cultures

Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy met while joining the auction house Pierre Bergé & Associés. While they share a passion for gemmology and the history of jewelry, their friendly bond thrives on their complementary strengths.

Starting with their respective cultures, oscillating between West and East in a fruitful exchange, the very balance that has led them to create MAZARIN.

The design of MAZARIN jewelry is inspired by a quest for meaning. It is the reason why we have chosen the elephant as totem.


Symbolizing strength and temperance in the West, power and authority in Africa, knowledge and wisdom in Hindu mythology, and strength and intelligence in China, the elephant resonates across all cultures.


Paying tribute to the animal’s embodiment of power and fragility, MAZARIN has made the elephant its totem. MAZARIN donates 10% of the sales from the LUCKY ELEPHANT collection and MEMORY CHARM BRACELETS to the Big Life Foundation. This non-profit organization, in partnership with local communities, works to preserve the ecosystem of 160,000 hectares of wilderness in East Africa.

MAZARIN selects its partners who craft its jewelry collections based on excellence and ensuring fair compensation criteria. At it’s level, MAZARIN promotes inclusive practices that encourage accessibility and reward merit without gender discrimination.
