The Mazarin House

The Mazarin House

Heritage and modernity. The House was founded by Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy, friends passionate about gemology and history, both working in the art market. Their complicity transformed into a desire to create MAZARIN.

The young jewelry house draws its strength from the heritage of a prestigious name. In the 17th century, Cardinal Mazarin collected exceptional diamonds from the legendary mines of Golconda.

MAZARIN is part of the great French jewelry tradition of Place Vendôme. Faithful to this long history, the House celebrates through its creations the timeless beauty of stones and nature. Inspired by the wild world, each MAZARIN piece of jewelry becomes a second skin that extends and reveals an instinctive beauty: a beauty that is worn naturally.

the founders

Mazarin was born from a friendship between Louise de Rothschild and Keagan Ramsamy, both passionate about gemology and art history. They met in the auction house founded by the great collector Pierre Bergé, and their complicity quickly transformed into a common desire to create their own jewelry house in Paris.

Their complementarity nourishes this adventure: Louise brings an entrepreneurial vision rooted in her love of stones, Keagan her creative talent inspired by nature, the source of Mazarin's unique style. Between East and West, their cultures and their journeys nourish in a constant dialogue.

From this alliance was born a unique jewelry, where each creation bears the signature of a shared, demanding and inspired look.

Our vision – Beauty, brought to nature

Mazarin imagines eternal jewelry, both contemporary and timeless. His creations draw their strength from the original beauty of nature and the heritage of great collectors.
The wild world inspires its organic lines, its sensual curves, its subtle balances. Each piece of jewelry becomes a second skin, fashioned from stones and metal, which extends and reveals an instinctive beauty: a beauty that is worn naturally.

Between heritage and modernity, Mazarin perpetuates the great French jewelry tradition while opening it to a new vision: a natural, universal beauty, which accompanies life and celebrates eternity.
The Elephant, our totem

The Elephant, our totem

It was natural to make the elephant the emblem of MAZARIN: wonder of the wild world, force of nature with majestic curves and graceful movements, it has always fascinated humanity.

By its power and its fragility, by the infinite delicacy of its tusks, the elephant embodies the evidence of a wild and instinctive beauty. A universal symbol, it inspires the creators of MAZARIN and reflects the subtle balance at the heart of each of their creations.

MAZARIN will donate 10% of sales from the LUCKY ELEPHANT collection and each MEMORY CHARM BRACELET to the Big Life Foundation, a non-profit organization which, in partnership with local communities, works to preserve the ecosystem of 160,000 hectares of wild lands in East Africa.
